Medium · Graph ratio (velocity/distance)
Two vehicles, P and Q, travel for the same duration T. Vehicle P's velocity rises uniformly from 0 at the start to a maximum value V at the end of the journey (its velocity-time graph is a single straight line from (0,0) to (T,V)). Vehicle Q travels at a constant velocity equal to exactly half of P's maximum velocity, V/2, for the entire duration T. What is the ratio of the distance covered by P to the distance covered by Q?
