With reference to the composition of the NITI Aayog under the Cabinet Secretariat Resolution of 1 January 2015, consider the following statements:

1. It may have not more than two part-time members, drawn from leading universities, research organisations and other relevant institutions, who serve on a rotational basis.

2. It may have not more than four ex officio members, nominated by the Prime Minister from among the members of either House of Parliament.
