To claim a right to disobey any law one personally disagrees with, while still claiming the protections that same legal order provides, is to want the benefits of common rules without accepting their necessary burden; carried to its logical end by everyone at once, such a claim would dissolve the very order making any right, including the right to vote and dissent, possible in the first place.
